SourcePoint Therapy®

SourcePoint Therapy® was developed by Bob Schrei and Donna Thomson in the early 2000s as a healing modality that works with the body's energetic blueprint to promote health and well-being. Bob Schrei, an Advanced Rolfing® Structural Integration practitioner and craniosacral therapist, and Donna Thomson, a meditation teacher and spiritual practitioner, combined their expertise to develop SourcePoint Therapy®. They developed the approach after years of exploration into the subtle energy systems of the body and how they interact with physical structure.

The foundation of SourcePoint Therapy® is the idea that an energetic blueprint exists for optimal health in every individual. This blueprint serves as a guide to help restore balance, vitality, and order to the body’s systems. SourcePoint practitioners access and work with this blueprint through energetic points on and around the body. By aligning the physical body with its ideal energetic template, SourcePoint Therapy® helps the body to find a better sense of ease and balance.

In my Rolfing® practice, I often incorporate SourcePoint Therapy® as a way to support the body’s overall alignment, working from both a physical and foundational level. While Rolfing focuses on addressing the physical structure—realigning fascia, muscles, and bones—SourcePoint Therapy® complements this by addressing the underlying foundation that supports that structure.

Here's how I use it:

  • Supporting Physical Realignment: As I work to reorganize the body using Rolfing techniques, SourcePoint Therapy® provides an additional layer of support by connecting to the body’s natural blueprint for health.

  • Tailored to Your Needs: Depending on your preferences and needs, SourcePoint Therapy® can either be integrated into a Rolfing session or used on its own as a stand-alone therapy. Many clients find that the combination of these two modalities helps them feel more centered and balanced, both physically and mentally.

By blending Rolfing and SourcePoint Therapy®, I can help clients achieve a deeper, more holistic sense of well-being. Feel free to ask how these therapies can work together to support your personal goals!
